The investigation established that two individuals, S.I.I., born in 1978, and A.A.B., born in 1982, used the name of the deputy chairman of the GKNB, promising to terminate a criminal case in exchange for $46,000.
This case has been classified under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud.
As part of the investigation, six individuals were detained, who are currently in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
The GKNB warns that individuals who commit similar crimes and mislead citizens by using the names of officials from state agencies will be held accountable in accordance with current legislation.
