On January 30, 2026, a citizen D.T., born in 1994, approached the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata District. He submitted a written statement indicating that on January 19, 2026, an unknown person contacted him, posing as a buyer, and began correspondence through the online platform Lalafo.
The fraudster, taking advantage of D.T.'s trust, deceitfully acquired his property — 15 heads of sheep, receiving the livestock without prior payment. As a result, he caused material damage amounting to 435,000 soms.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational-search activities, police officers were able to identify and detain the suspect — citizen Sh.Sh., born in 1995. In accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, he was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that the stolen livestock had been sold, and the money obtained was spent by the fraudster for personal needs.
