A criminal case has been initiated under Article 122 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational search activities, using the "Safe City" cameras, it was possible to detain a suspect in the Kochkor District. He turned out to be B. u. K., born in 1996. The suspect was taken to the Investigative Service and then placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A 29-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of murder in Bishkek.
Preliminary data indicates that a conflict occurred between the suspect and the victim during the consumption of alcoholic beverages, which escalated into a fight. According to the police, during the quarrel, the detainee inflicted bodily injuries on the victim, which led to his death.
The investigation is ongoing, forensic examinations have been appointed, and all circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
