According to the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, on January 11, 2026, at approximately 13:10, a report was received at the Kemin district police department stating that a dead man with stab wounds had been found in one of the houses in the city of Kemin.
Following the receipt of this information, an investigative-operational group was formed and dispatched to the scene. During the examination, it was established that the body of a citizen, A.A., born in 1960, was found in one of the houses in Kemin, with multiple stab wounds. The body was sent to the morgue, and necessary forensic examinations were appointed.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime as defined by Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code.
The investigation revealed that on the night of January 11, the deceased was at the home of citizen B.T., where they, along with their acquaintance S.K., were consuming alcoholic beverages. After the crime was committed, citizen S.K. fled the scene.
As a result of operational-search activities, police officers were able to identify and apprehend the suspects. They are citizens B.T. and S.K., both born in 1960. They have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
