On January 7, around 11 a.m., the police received a call that a body with a gunshot wound had been found in one of the houses in the capital. The caller, who identified herself as a housekeeper, reported that upon arriving for work, she discovered her employer, Z.K., born in 1967, in the kitchen, with a pistol lying next to him.
A forensic investigative team from the Sverdlovsk Internal Affairs Department promptly arrived at the scene. Upon inspection, it was determined that the house was in order, and no signs of a struggle were found. No bodily injuries were discovered either.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident is suicide. As part of the preliminary investigation, examinations have been appointed, and all circumstances of the incident are currently being established.
