A serviceman committed suicide
In the Jalal-Abad region, a tragic event occurred: a serviceman of the State Penitentiary Service (GPS) took his own life. This information was provided by the agency itself.
According to GPS data, the incident happened the day before at around 15:25. The serviceman, named A.A.N., born in 2007 and serving in the 5th security battalion at a post in the village of Bai-Munduz in the Bazar-Korgon district, shot himself with a service pistol. The incident took place in correctional facility No. 10.
Unfortunately, A.A.N. succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Deputy Chairman of GPS, Kurmanbek Sokeiev, as well as heads of relevant services, arrived at the scene of the tragedy. Representatives of the district internal affairs department (ROVD) and the Military Prosecutor's Office are also present.
Currently, operational investigative actions are being conducted.
