Employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) detained B.K.B., suspected of fraud.
According to the agency, the detention occurred during operational-search activities related to the investigation of a criminal case concerning fraudulent actions that harm the reputation of security service employees. It was revealed that B.K.B., who previously worked at institution No. 21 of the GSIN KR, posed as an active employee of the GKNB.
According to the investigation, he intimidated businessmen by promising to bring them to criminal responsibility, and as a result, stole 26,300 dollars. Currently, the suspect is in a temporary detention facility, and investigative actions are ongoing.
To create the illusion of high status, B.K.B. claimed to be an assistant to Colonel-General Kamchybek Tashiev, the chairman of the GKNB, and even referred to fictitious friendly ties with his son.
