The suspect extorted money, threatening with criminal consequences
A citizen of Kyrgyzstan, N.H.A., was arrested in the Chui region, who, pretending to be an employee of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of the Kyrgyz Republic, deceitfully obtained a significant amount of money from citizens. This was reported by the press service of the GKNB.
According to available information, N.H.A. promised his victims assistance in resolving criminal cases in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for a monetary reward, as a result of which he received 3,000,000 soms.
However, instead of returning the funds for unfulfilled obligations, the suspect began to pressure the victims, threatening them with a criminal case under the article "Giving a bribe to a public official".
The GKNB urges anyone who may have fallen victim to N.H.A.'s actions to contact the following numbers: 0312-66-04-75, 0312-62-65-04.
The agency draws citizens' attention to the fact that one should not trust fraudsters and their actions aimed at extorting money under the pretext of providing assistance to the GKNB.
