In the Talas region, employees of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) detained the head of the Amanbaev rural district and a land specialist. This occurred due to suspicions of abuse of office.
According to information from the SCNS, these officials entered into an unfavorable contract for the state, using their powers for personal gain. In 2024, drip irrigation systems and a pool, funded by the republican budget, were installed on a 60-hectare plot of land in the village of Bakayyr.
During the investigation, it was revealed that U.B.A., the head of the rural district, and B.S.A., the land specialist, illegally leased this plot to their relatives. As a result of these actions, the state suffered damages amounting to 1 million 579 thousand 980 soms.
The detained individuals were placed in the temporary detention facility of the Talas Internal Affairs Department.
The investigation is ongoing, during which other possible participants in this case are being identified.
