During the investigation, it was revealed that Lieutenant Colonel of Police M. Zh. A., working in the permit system of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Aravan district, together with Major of Police S. A. Sh., an investigator from the Nookat district, extorted the specified amount from one of the citizens in exchange for assistance in obtaining a favorable decision on a case being handled by S. A. Sh.
During the detention, one of the suspects attempted to destroy evidence by throwing part of the money into the toilet.The investigative and operational group is currently continuing its work aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the case and identifying other possible accomplices.
The detainees have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic.
