During the operation, it was established that the detainees were extorting money from a citizen for assistance in obtaining a favorable decision on a case that was under the investigator's jurisdiction.
During the attempted arrest, one of the suspects resisted, trying to dispose of part of the money by throwing it into the toilet.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to document all circumstances of the case and identify other possible accomplices.
Both detainees have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
