In Bishkek, employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate continue active measures aimed at identifying all participants in the cyber fraud, during which a citizen named U.K. lost 7,500,000 soms.
According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek, the fraudsters, posing as employees of the State Committee for National Security and the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, deceitfully acquired a significant sum of money from the victim.
As part of the investigation, three suspects have already been detained, who are currently in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
During further operational actions, employees of the "K" department of the Criminal Investigation Department detained the fourth participant in the criminal scheme — a citizen named R.T., who is 31 years old. He already has a criminal past related to thefts, robberies, and drug trafficking.
Upon his detention, the man was found to have characteristic tattoos on his chest — an image of a compass star and a roaring lion, which were documented.
The investigation has established that R.T.'s illegal actions were carried out in Bishkek, as well as in the Chui and Issyk-Kul regions. He was taken to the Investigative Service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate and placed in the temporary detention facility.
It was also found that R.T. conducted fraudulent operations through the messenger "Telegram," embezzling more than 1,000,000 soms.
Currently, the Investigative Service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek continues to carry out necessary investigative actions and operational-search activities aimed at identifying other accomplices and fully documenting the criminal activities of the group.
