According to the case materials, in 2024, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry implemented a project for the installation of a drip irrigation system and water reservoir on 60 hectares of land in the village of Bakayir, funded from the republican budget.
During the investigation, it was revealed that U.B.A., the head of the rural district, and B.S.A., who deals with land issues, leased the land to their relatives, acting in their own interests and violating the law.
The damage caused to the state amounts to 1 million 579 thousand 980 soms, which is classified as particularly large damage.
Both detainees have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Talas Department of Internal Affairs.
The investigation is ongoing, and operational measures are being conducted to identify other possible participants in the crime.
