According to the directive from GKNB Chairman Kamchybek Tashiev, the criminal case has been transferred to the central office of the service, where an investigative and operational group has been formed for further examination.
GKNB representatives emphasized that the country's top leadership has already expressed its position on this high-profile case, which poses a threat to public safety and the foundations of family values, demanding a thorough legal assessment.
During the investigation, new facts emerged: the murdered woman had a temporary protection order, and the suspect used a gas-traumatic weapon, which he possessed illegally.
Upon completion of the investigation, a final legal assessment will be made regarding the actions of the accused, as well as those individuals whose actions or inactions may have contributed to the commission of this crime, noted the GKNB.
It is worth recalling that on December 23, a tragic incident occurred in the capital when a man shot his ex-wife. It is known that he is a former militiaman and had previously attempted to run for a seat in the city council.
