High-ranking officials attended the farewell ceremony, including the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Chairman of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev, as well as the First Deputy and Director of the Border Service Abdikarim Alimbayev, the Deputy Chairman of the GKNB Kurvanbek Avazov, the Mayor of the city of Osh Jenishbek Toktorbaev, the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Jalal-Abad region Nurlan Ermatov, the Akim of the Suzak district Baratbek Sydyknazarov, colleagues and veterans of the services, as well as the family of the deceased.
The colonel passed away on December 11, 2025.
The colonel was a native of the village of Kyzyl-Senir. After graduating from the Osh Higher Technological College in 1994, he continued his studies at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn, where he obtained a master's degree in law in 2015.
Makanbaev's career in national security agencies began in 2001, and he continued to serve until 2025, holding a number of operational and managerial positions, as reported in the press release of the GKNB.
