The leadership, the Veterans Council, and the entire staff of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic express deep sorrow over the loss of Colonel Erkinbek Chakanovich Makanbaev, who passed away on December 11, 2025. They extend their heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
Erkinbek Chakanovich was born in 1972 in the village of Kyzyl-Senir, located in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region. In 1994, he graduated from the Osh Higher Technological College, and in 2015, he obtained a master's degree in Law from the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn.
He began his career in national security agencies in 2001 and served until 2025, holding numerous operational and managerial positions.
For his achievements in service, he was awarded various departmental awards, as well as honors from the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Colleagues remember Erkinbek Chakanovich as a worthy leader and a true officer who always demonstrated a high sense of responsibility. He became a mentor for many generations of security officers, teaching them honesty, fairness, respect for the traditions of service, and love for their homeland.
Erkinbek Chakanovich will also be remembered as a kind, responsive person, a loyal friend, and a reliable comrade. He will forever remain in our memory. The leadership, veterans, and all members of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic once again express their condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
