He also added: "On behalf of the people of Kyrgyzstan and myself personally, I extend my sincere condolences to you and the entire people of Turkey in connection with this terrible tragedy."
The head of state expressed support for the relatives and loved ones of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to all the injured.
According to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, the military plane crashed on its way from Azerbaijan to Turkey: there were 20 servicemen on board, and all of them died.
The plane took off from Ganja at 13:20 and disappeared from radar 27 minutes later. Wreckage was found in the Signagi area, five kilometers from the border with Azerbaijan. The causes of the crash are currently being investigated by a special group.
The Ministry of Defense also published the names of the deceased, among whom were pilots, technicians, and maintenance specialists. The bodies of the deceased will be returned to Turkey.
