The incident occurred shortly after Ekaterina's nose surgery. According to her, Yuri Bivol unexpectedly came to the training session of his grandson Nikon. When Ekaterina tried to prevent his visit and began filming the incident, the man knocked the phone out of her hands. The recording captures screams and sounds of the conflict, as well as a child's voice.
Later, Ekaterina posted a video online showing her injured face: blood was flowing from her nose, and there were noticeable bruises on her forehead and cheekbone. She claims that her father-in-law hit her in the area of the fresh stitch from her surgery.
"I have a broken nose, which is confirmed by the injury. I sent a telegram, and the police officer should call me. I am in shock — the surgery was just two days ago," Ekaterina shared on her Telegram channel.
She called the police and intends to file a lawsuit against Yuri Bivol.
It is important to note that Ekaterina Bivol is wanted in Kyrgyzstan. A criminal case has been initiated against her under Article 330, which pertains to inciting racial, ethnic, or national hatred.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the start of a preliminary investigation in connection with a video recording in which the boxer’s ex-wife makes xenophobic statements against citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
On October 31, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan also announced that a criminal case has been opened against Ekaterina Bivol. She has been declared wanted with a measure of restraint in the form of detention, although the details of the article under which the case is being pursued have not yet been disclosed.
