Cholponbek Taiteliev was born on May 28, 1975, in the village of Kök-Say, located in the Kara-Buurin district of the Talas region. In 1992, he completed his studies at a local high school and enrolled in a vocational school in the Manas district, where he received a diploma in agricultural accounting. Later, in 2004, he graduated from the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn.
Cholponbek began his career in 1997, working as a teacher at school No. 73 in Bishkek. That same year, he became part of the editorial team of the journal "El agartuu," which is published by the Ministry of Education and Science. For many years, he held the position of responsible secretary, and from 2012 to 2023, he headed the editorial office. In the last years of his life, he worked as the head of the department of this journal.
Taiteliev was awarded the title of "Excellence in Education" and received honorary certificates from both the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers and the Union of Journalists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
