Corrupt officials demanded 180 thousand dollars
According to the press center of the special services, employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) detained an extortionist and an employee of the anti-narcotics service (SBNON).
Law enforcement agencies established that a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic with the initials J.K.T., together with SBNON employee M.A.Z., extorted 180 thousand dollars for making changes to a criminal case. The detention occurred at the moment they received 90 thousand dollars.
During searches in J.K.T.'s vehicle, a package containing hashish weighing 105 grams was found.
Currently, investigative activities are underway.
