According to information from the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region, employees of the drug trafficking department of the Toktogul district police received information that a certain citizen was engaged in the collection of wild-growing narcotics.
This information was entered into the Unified Register of Crimes by the investigative service of the Toktogul district police under Article 283 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs without the purpose of sale"), which served as the basis for initiating a criminal case.
During operational activities, employees of the Toktogul district police were able to identify the suspect, citizen M.A., and bring him to the investigative authorities.
It turned out that M.A., born in 1982 and a native of the city of Kara-Kul, arrived in the Toktogul district, where he was detained for collecting narcotic plants. During a search, 10 kilograms and 215 grams of narcotic substances were seized from him, which were sent for forensic chemical examination.
The examination revealed that among the seized substances were 55 grams of hashish and 10 kilograms and 160 grams of marijuana.
By the decision of the Toktogul district court, a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of two months was chosen against M.A.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
