Based on this information, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.
As a result of operational activities, on December 11, employees of the Drug Control Service, together with special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained the suspect, a resident of Talas born in 1963, Ch. K.
During the search of his home and adjacent buildings, narcotic substances were discovered and seized: 18,288.54 grams of marijuana, 4,062 grams of cannabis straw, and 1.29 grams of hashish. The total weight of all seized drugs amounted to 22 kilograms and 351 grams.
The Talas City Court selected a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention, and he was placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
