According to information provided by the press service of the Osh region police department, on December 12, a report was received at the Kara-Suu district police department stating that a suspicious substance, which may be narcotic, was being transported in a Hyundai Getz vehicle. Based on this information, verification actions were initiated.
The gathered materials served as the basis for initiating a criminal case under Article 292 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the "illegal circulation of potent or toxic substances for the purpose of sale."
During operational-search activities, three suspects were detained: A. I. (born in 1995), A. B. (born in 2001), and M. N. (born in 1995). All of them were placed in a temporary detention facility on December 13. A total of 313 vials containing a substance called "Tropicamide," each with a volume of 10 ml, were seized from them. Currently, examinations have been appointed to analyze the seized substances.
Investigative actions are ongoing to determine the composition of the seized substance and to search for other individuals involved in this crime.
