According to the investigation, police lieutenant colonel M.Z.A., who works in the licensing inspection of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Aravan district, along with police major S.A.Sh., an investigator from the Department of Internal Affairs of the Nookat district, demanded money from a citizen for assistance in the positive resolution of her case, which was at the stage of preliminary investigation.
At the moment of detention, one of the accused attempted to dispose of evidence by throwing part of the money into the toilet.
Currently, work is ongoing to document all the details of the case and to search for other individuals who may be connected to this crime.
Both detainees have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic.
