
A large batch of smuggled potent drugs was found in the woman's residence
A pharmacist from one of the pharmacies was arrested in Bishkek on charges of selling psychotropic and potent medications.
According to the information from the press service of the State Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the woman, K.Z.N., born in 1979, who worked in the pharmacy chain "Mir and Nur," had been engaged in the smuggling sale of psychotropic and potent drugs in Bishkek for a long time.
“The staff of the State Drug Control Service conducted a controlled purchase of prohibited substances. On October 8, during a repeated operation to acquire large volumes of psychotropic substances using marked banknotes, citizen K.Z.N. was detained,” the message states. “As a result of searches, the following were seized: the psychotropic substance 'L'; vials of the drug 'T', which belongs to potent substances; as well as illegal medications of smuggled origin.”
By the decision of the Department of Medicines and Medical Devices, K.Z.N. was imposed an administrative fine. The court sentenced her to two months in pre-trial detention.
