According to the received data, employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), together with representatives of the Naryn regional department of the antimonopoly service and workers from the Naryn city administration, detained six trucks loaded with coal from the "Kara-Keche" deposit. A total of 108 tons of coal was planned to be sold in Naryn at a price of 6,000 soms per ton; however, according to the GKNB press service, this price is unreasonably inflated.
“It was found that these trucks received coal from the "Kara-Keche" deposit based on powers of attorney issued by the rural administration of Togolok-Moldo in the Ak-Tal district. It was expected that the coal would be unloaded at fuel bases in this district. Those responsible for these violations were punished: the head of the rural administration of the village of Togolok Moldo, "A.A.", received a severe reprimand, while the deputy akim of the Ak-Tal district, "Zh.U.", was given a warning. The specialist from the rural administration, "A.M.", who issued the powers of attorney for loading the coal, was dismissed,” the press release states.
As a result of the actions taken by the GKNB, it was possible to achieve a reduction in coal prices in some regions. For instance, in the Kochkor district, the price decreased from 5,100 soms to 4,000 soms per ton, while in Naryn and the At-Bashinsky district, the cost of coal fell by 500 soms, amounting to 5,500 soms.
