How Much Do Meat, Flour, and Vegetables Cost: Fresh Price Monitoring in the Aytmatov District

The Department of Internal Affairs of the Aytmatov District, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kara-Buurin District Ayil Okmotu, and the District Department of Agricultural Development jointly conducted an explanatory campaign aimed at stabilizing food prices, reported a Turmush correspondent. 

The explanatory campaign was carried out as part of the order of the Aytmatov District State Administration No. 236 dated November 17, 2025, from the Department of the State Committee for National Security for the Aytmatov District. 

As of December 6 of this year, the prices are as follows:

At meat procurement points:

beef costs — 480–500 soms, horse meat — 520–550 soms.

At retail outlets: lamb meat — 650 soms, horse meat — 620 soms, beef — 650 soms.

Prices for flour:

Kyrgyz — 1550–1700 soms,

Kazakh — 1800–2200 soms.

Vegetables and products:

Potatoes — 35–45 soms,

Onions — 25–30 soms,

Carrots — 35–40 soms,

Eggs — 10–11 soms,

Vegetable oil:

5 liters — 720 soms, 2 liters — 370 soms, 1 liter — 135 soms,

Rice — 80–100 soms,

Milk — 40–50 soms.

At the Maymak station:

Shabyrkul — 7300 soms,

Kara-Jyra — 6500–6800 soms;

In the village:

Kara-Jyra — 8700–8900 soms,

Shabyrkul — 9000–9500 soms.
