This information was confirmed by local sellers in a conversation with a Turmush correspondent.
According to the traders, last week the price of lamb and beef ranged from 680 to 700 soms per kilogram, depending on the quality of the meat.
“In the village of Belyovod, a central market called 'Yarmarka' was opened, where beef and lamb were sold at the aforementioned prices. Now, for the sake of food security, for those who order over 10 kilograms, the price has been reduced to 650 soms per kilogram. Thus, the meat has become cheaper by 30 soms,” the sellers explained.
At the market, the following prices are also observed: potatoes — 40 soms per kilogram, onions — 30 soms, cabbage — 25 soms, carrots — 30 soms, pumpkin — 50 soms, tomatoes — 170 soms, and garlic — 250 soms.
