Currently, in the Jayil District, the price of 1 kilogram of honey is about 500 soms, while 1 liter can be purchased for 700 soms, reports Turmush correspondent.

Prices may vary depending on the type and quality of honey. The location of its collection also plays an important role, whether it is mountainous areas or plains, as well as the vegetation from which the honey was harvested.

Honey in combs is sold at a price of 700 soms per kilogram. Flower pollen and perga cost the same — 2,500 soms per kilogram.

As noted by beekeeper Vladimir Shkarbanenko from the village of Alexeyevka, flower pollen and perga are beekeeping products that local residents use as biologically active supplements to improve the immune system.

Over the past three years, the price of Kyrgyz honey has increased from 350 to 500 soms per kilogram. Beekeepers explain this by the growing demand for Kyrgyz honey outside the country and poor harvest years. This year, the honey yield was low due to the hot summer.

Kyrgyz honey is known for its healing properties, which are valued both in the country and abroad. It helps improve digestion, cope with stress, normalize sleep, and has bactericidal and immunomodulatory properties, making it an effective remedy for colds.

Perga, known as "bee bread," is a combination of flower pollen, nectar, and bee enzymes that bees compact in the honeycomb. During the natural fermentation process, it turns into a highly nutritious product that serves as food for young bees. Perga has significant advantages over regular pollen due to the fermentation process it undergoes.
