As part of the activities aimed at ensuring the availability of coal for the population, a batch of six trucks loaded with coal from the Kara-Keche deposit, weighing a total of 108 tons, was detained. The transporters intended to sell the coal in Naryn at an inflated price of 6,000 soms per ton.

Inspection showed that the coal was loaded based on a power of attorney from the Togolok-Moldinsky ayil okmotu in the Ak-Tal district. The documents indicated the need for coal delivery to the district's bases; however, it was actually planned to be resold at a higher price in Naryn.
As a result of the investigation, responsible individuals were held accountable. The head of the Togolok-Moldinsky ayil okmotu, A.A., received a severe reprimand, the deputy akim of the Ak-Tal district, J.U., was warned, and the specialist of the ayil okmotu, A.M., who issued the loading power of attorney, was dismissed from his position.

The GKNB noted that thanks to the measures taken, it was possible to reduce coal prices in several districts of the region. For example, in the Kochkor district, the price per ton of coal decreased from 5,100 to 4,000 soms. In Naryn and the At-Bashinsky district, the cost of coal from Kara-Keche dropped from 6,000 to 5,500 soms, while coal from the Turuk deposit decreased from 5,000 to 4,500 soms.
The agency emphasized that work to prevent coal speculation during the winter period will continue.
