On November 18, employees of the Regional Department of the Ecological Supervision Service for Bishkek and the Alamedin District conducted raids at coal bases in the capital. During the inspection, the fractional composition of the coal being sold was analyzed.

According to information provided by the Ecological Supervision Service, it was revealed during the checks that coal of a fine fraction, containing particles ranging from 0 to 13 mm, is being delivered to the capital. The coal was supplied by OJSC "KyrgyzKomur" from the Kara-Keche coal deposit.

Recommendations were given to the owners of the coal bases and responsible individuals. Explanatory conversations were also held with citizens and enterprises engaged in coal sales. The main focus was on issues related to improving air quality, reducing pollutant emissions into the atmosphere, and adhering to established standards.
