On November 10, the Jalal-Abad Regional Office of the Ecological and Technical Supervision Service received a report from the workers of the Children's and Youth Creativity Center in the village of Kargalyk about illegal logging of poplar trees on a designated area for landscaping.

According to information from the Ecological and Technical Supervision Service, on November 11, inspectors went to the scene, where they found that 22 trees had been cut down. The assessment of the damage caused to the ecology amounted to 15,894 soms.

During the investigation, it became known that the logging was carried out by a local resident named D.N. He has fully compensated for the damage caused and also reported that in the spring of 2026, he plans to plant fruit seedlings in place of the cut-down trees to restore the ecosystem.
