1285 low-income families in the Lenin District will receive monetary compensation instead of coal

In the Lenin district, monetary payments are planned as compensation for coal for 1,285 low-income families. This was reported by Zhoomart Toktosunov, the deputy akim of the district, at a meeting of two commissions of the Bishkek city council.

At the moment, assistance has already been provided to 588 families, and work on the payment of compensations is ongoing for the others. Families living in villages that were annexed to Bishkek as a result of the administrative-territorial reform are also included in this program.

A total of 7 million 746 thousand soms has been allocated for the purchase of coal in the Lenin district.
