As of today, local residents have already purchased and received about 10,000 tons of coal.
Deputy Akim Maksat Kadyrkulov noted that coal is being supplied both to the main wholesale bases and through sellers who conduct sales in the villages at a price of 6,000 soms per ton.
“Currently, the delivery of coal is actively ongoing, with 33 trucks involved in the operation. All vehicles are registered and operate with official drivers,” he added.
However, coal extraction at the Turuk deposit has been temporarily suspended. This is due to the fact that after blasting operations, instead of coal seams, rock layers began to appear, which led to a decrease in extraction efficiency,” Kadyrkulov reported.
