In the Naryn region, an attempt to raise coal prices was prevented thanks to the joint actions of the State Committee for National Security and other government structures. This was reported by the press service of the GKNB.
According to information provided by the agency, on December 8, six trucks transporting coal from the Karakiche mine (a total of 108 tons) were detained. These vehicles planned to sell coal in Naryn at an inflated price of 6000 soms per ton.
It should be noted that the trucks were loaded with coal at the Karakiche mine based on powers of attorney issued by the Togolok-Moldo rural district of the Ak-Tal region and were supposed to deliver coal to fuel bases located in this area.
The individuals responsible for this violation faced punishment: the head of the village council of T.Moldo, A.A., received a severe reprimand, the deputy akim of the Ak-Tal region, J.U., received a warning, and the specialist of the village council, A.M., who issued the powers of attorney for loading coal, was dismissed from his position.
As a result of the GKNB's actions, coal prices were reduced in several districts.
“In the Kochkor district, the price dropped from 5100 to 4000 soms per ton, in Naryn and the At-Bashinsky district — from 6000 to 5500 soms for coal from Karakiche and from 5000 to 4500 soms for coal from Turuka,” the message states. ```
