According to available data, around 15:25 hours at correctional facility No. 10 of GSIN, located in the village of Bai-Munduz in the Bazar-Korgon district, soldier A.A.N., born in 2007 and serving in the 5th security battalion, shot himself with his service weapon for reasons that are still unclear. Unfortunately, he died at the scene from the injuries sustained.
High-ranking officials from GSIN, including the Deputy Chairman — Head of the Department of Security and Escort Colonel Kurmanbek Sokeev, as well as representatives of the relevant services, arrived at the scene of the tragedy to conduct operational investigative activities. Officers from the Bazar-Korgon district police and the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Jalal-Abad garrison also arrived.
The investigative group has begun to collect the necessary materials regarding this incident. Pre-trial procedural activities are being conducted by the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Jalal-Abad garrison.
