The incident occurred on January 7, when a call was received on line 102 from a resident of the region who reported that he had been the victim of a knife attack and is currently at the National Surgical Center named after M.M. Mamakeev.
An investigative operational group from the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata District arrived at the scene. The victim reported that the incident took place in the village of Pervomayskoye around 02:15. The conflict arose from an argument with a relative, during which the relative grabbed a kitchen knife and inflicted several stab wounds to the neck, shoulder, chest, and abdomen.
This case has been registered under Article 37-122 ("Attempted Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation established that there was animosity between the victim and the suspect.
The suspect, M.A., born in 2003, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, further investigation is underway.
