In the Chui region, law enforcement authorities have detained a suspect in a fraud case who was wanted. This became known thanks to information from the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the information received, on March 26, a citizen named S.S., born in 1987, reported to the police. He stated that in 2024 he was deceived by a citizen named B.M., who took possession of several vehicles: a 2018 Toyota Hilux for $23,000, a 2003 Honda Stream for $7,000, a 2018 Hyundai Sonata for $15,000, as well as $20,000 in cash. The accused promised to return the money with construction concrete but then disappeared.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In August 2025, B.M. was charged by the investigative department of the Alamudun district police, and a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen in absentia, which served as the basis for his being declared wanted.
As a result of operational actions, the suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, an investigation is ongoing to check his possible involvement in other crimes. The investigation remains under the control of law enforcement authorities.
