As part of the operational event "Search," a suspect in a series of apartment burglaries was detained in the Chuy region. He is currently under arrest, and the investigation is ongoing.
According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chuy region, the detainee is a 28-year-old citizen named K.D. He was arrested by police officers in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The reason for opening a criminal case was a statement from a local resident, K.B., born in 1962, who reported that on November 26, 2025, unknown individuals broke into his home and stole 620,000 soms, 5,000 US dollars, and 20,000 tenge, causing him significant material damage.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to theft.
Later, four more residents of Tokmok also approached the internal affairs authorities with similar statements. All complaints were registered, and criminal cases were also initiated based on them.
Currently, an investigation is being conducted to determine the possible involvement of the detainee in other crimes.
