In the Chuy region, law enforcement agencies have detained a man suspected of committing a series of thefts. He turned out to be T.U., born in 1982 and previously convicted. The district court has decided to arrest the suspect.
According to the police, the man acted mainly at night, breaking into cars, outbuildings, and yard territories.
Among the registered cases of theft:
— electrical hand tools worth 149,500 soms were stolen from a furniture workshop;
— tools and equipment worth about 24,000 soms were stolen from a private household;
— items worth 13,800 soms were stolen from a Volkswagen Passat;
— household and automotive accessories worth 11,490 soms were stolen from a Honda Fit;
— documents, a bank card, and cash were stolen from a NIVA.
All facts have been registered, and criminal cases have been initiated against the suspect under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (theft).
During the investigation, tools of the crime and physical evidence were seized. The investigation is ongoing, and a possible connection of the detainee with other crimes in the region is being checked.
