According to the prosecutor's office of the Alamudun district, violations were discovered during an inspection of companies engaged in washing sand and gravel mix in the village of Kara-Zhyjach. Among them are LLC "S", "AKP", "JKD", and "AP".
As reported by the supervisory authority, the enterprises discharged contaminated wastewater onto the ground without any filtration or purification measures, which led to the pollution of the natural environment.
According to data from the Regional Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision for Bishkek and the Alamudun district, the amount of damage caused is 7.1 million soms.
The criminal case was initiated under Article 298 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning violations of environmental protection rules during work execution. Necessary investigative actions are currently being carried out.
