A representative of a farming enterprise filed a report with the police of the Alamudun district, informing them of the incident. According to him, J.E., born in 1998 and working as a livestock caretaker at this enterprise, took on the responsibilities of caring for and grazing 50 calves until April 2026 in October 2025.
However, in January 2026, he illegally sold the livestock and lost the proceeds in online gambling. As a result of his actions, the enterprise suffered damages amounting to 3 million 700 thousand soms, as clarified by the Department of Internal Affairs.
An investigation has been initiated under Article 210 ("Embezzlement and Misappropriation of Entrusted Property") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and the investigation is ongoing.
