In Kyrgyzstan, 75 Drunk Drivers Were Detained on New Year's Eve

On New Year's Eve in Kyrgyzstan, 75 drivers were detained for being behind the wheel while intoxicated, according to information provided by the press service of the Main Department for Ensuring Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the raids conducted across the country, more than 3002 traffic rule violators were identified.

Among them, 336 drivers were punished for speeding. Additionally, 602 vehicles were impounded for serious violations of the rules.

In the republic, 21 traffic accidents were recorded, fortunately, most of them occurred without serious consequences.

Representatives of the Main Department for Ensuring Road Safety emphasized that there were no violations among the staff, and the leadership is closely monitoring compliance with road safety.
