More than 400 drunk drivers detained in a week in Kyrgyzstan


According to the data from the press service of the Main Department for Ensuring Road Safety (GUOBDD), from December 15 to December 21, 2025, there were 20,295 violations of traffic rules recorded in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During this period, 3,719 vehicles were placed in impound lots, and thousands of drivers were held administratively responsible for various offenses.

Among the violators, 424 individuals were driving under the influence of alcohol, 2,569 drivers exceeded the speed limit, and 1,558 were operating vehicles without the necessary documents.

Additionally, there were 2,980 cases of violations of vehicle operation rules, 565 traffic violations involving pedestrians, 135 cases of illegal window tinting, and 29 acts of auto hooliganism.

Furthermore, 4 cases of driving vehicles with counterfeit state registration plates were identified, along with 8,312 violations of other traffic regulations.
