From November 24 to 30, 2025, a raid called "Tinting" is being carried out in the republic, aimed at improving road safety and preventing violations. As part of this event, employees of the State Traffic Safety Department (GUOBDD) will identify vehicles with illegally tinted windows, which will be sent to the impound lot. Owners of such vehicles will be held accountable under part 3 of Article 194 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, which implies a fine of 20,000 soms.
The GUOBDD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic urges all drivers to strictly adhere to legislative requirements and traffic rules to avoid fines and ensure safety on the country's roads.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the current year, 7,183 drivers have been detained for violating window tinting regulations.
