Since the beginning of the year, 1,360 auto hooligans have been detained in Kyrgyzstan, whose actions endangered the safety of other road users. In response to these offenses, measures have been taken: fines have been imposed on violators, and their vehicles have been placed in impound lots.
Considering that a significant portion of auto hooligans and participants in illegal races are youth, the State Traffic Safety Department urges parents to closely monitor their children's behavior.
According to the current Code of Offenses, drivers who fall under the article on auto hooliganism twice within a year lose their right to drive for six months.
The State Traffic Safety Department reminds citizens of the necessity to comply with traffic rules and to take responsibility for their safety and the safety of those around them.
