According to the information from the department, over 3,000 serious violations of traffic rules were registered across the country during the duty shifts. Among them, 75 individuals were detained for driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol, and 336 motorists were caught speeding.
In addition, 602 vehicles were sent to the impound lot for serious traffic violations. During this New Year period, there were 21 road traffic accidents in the country, most of which resulted in no serious consequences.
The Main Department for Ensuring Road Safety emphasized that there were no recorded cases of disciplinary violations among their employees. Overall, the situation with road safety in Kyrgyzstan remains stable and is under the control of the leadership of the Main Department for Ensuring Road Safety.
