In the Chui region, one of the key figures of a transnational drug network was detained while attempting to sell 1 kg of "Afghan charas." Information from the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic indicates that during operational activities, a citizen identified as G.A.T. was captured, who is one of the organizers of this drug network.
On November 17, at the moment of attempting to sell more than 1 kg of "Afghan charas" (hashish resin), this individual was caught red-handed. He was overseeing drug supplies along the route Tajikistan-Osh region-Chui region.
On November 18, G.A.T. was arrested and placed in Institution No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service according to the ruling of the October court.
