The suspect sold the stolen livestock and spent the proceeds
In the Issyk-Ata district, sheep were stolen using the Lalafo platform, as reported by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chuy region.
The victim, 29-year-old D.T., contacted the police and explained that on January 19, an unknown person posing as a buyer managed to take possession of 15 heads of livestock without paying.
A criminal case was opened on this fact under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational actions, law enforcement officers detained the suspect, 28-year-old Sh.Sh., who was subsequently placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigation, it was found that the stolen animals had been sold, and the proceeds were used for the personal needs of the detainee.
