The case began to develop after a citizen, A.A., contacted the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department on December 28, 2025. She reported that at the Alamedin market, her underage daughter had her iPhone 12 Pro Max stolen from her jacket pocket.
A criminal case was initiated based on Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the operational activities, the first suspect, identified as A.K., born in 1998, was detained. During the investigation, it was found that he was selling the stolen phones at the "Osh Bazar" market with the help of a second participant — A.Z., born in 2001.
Both individuals were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek Main Internal Affairs Department based on Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During searches at the "Besh-Sary" shopping center, law enforcement officers found and seized more than 20 mobile phones, which apparently have a criminal origin. Currently, a connection has been established between the detainees and a number of pickpocketing incidents at the capital's markets.
The investigation is ongoing.
